The Best Baby & Toddler Groups in Peterborough: (Recommended by Real Local Parents)

When you’ve got a new baby, the days can feel long and a bit isolating, especially if you’re home on your own. Baby and toddler groups aren’t just for little ones — they’re for us as parents too. Getting out, meeting people, and having somewhere to go each week can make such a huge difference to your mental health.

So many parents tell me they’ve met their closest friends at local baby groups. These spaces give you the chance to chat, feel understood, and build that “village” everyone talks about — the one we all need, but don’t always have yet.

I recently asked local families to share their favourite baby groups in Peterborough, and the response was huge. Below is a full list based on their real recommendations and experiences, plus a few extra useful groups to explore. I’ve listed everything alphabetically so it’s easy to browse.

You’ll also find links to booking pages, websites, or Facebook groups wherever possible.

My children go to Little Owletts with their Aunty whilst I am at work and I have massive FOMO! They love it and Emily so much, I think my sister would still go without the children.

Don’t Forget Your Local Library!

Many local libraries run:

Baby Groups Are About Finding Your Village

Baby groups in Peterborough offer so much more than activities. Parents repeatedly mentioned:

    •    friendly, welcoming volunteers

    •    activities that genuinely entertain little ones

    •    the opportunity to meet “your people”

Finding your village doesn’t always happen instantly, but getting out to local groups makes it far more likely. You never know which group might introduce you to lifelong friends.
